G-Men Demolish Bulldogs

The Grambling State University Tiger football team defeated the Alabama A&M Bulldogs 31-6, Saturday at Robinson stadium. The Tigers jumped out early after Brandon Landers connected with Clyde Edwards on the first touchdown of the day making the score 7-0.

After a fumble by the G-Men, the Alabama A&M Bulldogs cut the deficient with a field goal making the score 7-3.

The Tigers would add a field goal and went into the second quarter with a 10-3 led.

Grambling scored another touchdown with 8:24 left in the second quarter increasing there led to 17-3.

After a late field goal by the Bulldogss, the Tigers went into half time with a 17-6 led.

The only points scored in the 3rd quarter came from a Reginal Jackson touchdown run which made the score 24-6 entering the 4th quarter.

Landers through his second touchdown of the day when he hooked up with Jackson to increase the tiger led to 31-6.

Next up for the G-Men, a trip to Dallas, TX to take on the PVA&MU Panthers in the Cotton Bowl Sept. 29.
