A student was stabbed approximately around 4 a.m. Sunday. According to sources, the female student was stabbed by her girlfriend during an altercation.Pipes in the Wheatley and Jones Hall area burst late Saturday night. It is unclear as to what pipes burst, but police, ambulances and firemen were reportedly on the scene.
According to an article on The New’s Star website, GSU professor Zinia Blake was involved in an one-car accident when her sports utility vehicle overturned. Blake and her children were not wearing child restraints, and one of her children was pronounced dead at the scene. Blake later died at the LSU Medical Center-Shreveport. Her other children remain in critical condition.
