GSU sets qualifier, condition standards for early refunds

Grambling State University students will receive refunds for the 2007 fall semester faster than in previous years according the GSU officials.
Student must complete the registration process by Aug. 1 in order to receive their refunds by Aug. 28 said officials.
In order to participate in the fall 2007 Early Refund, students must attend at least one class during the week of Aug. 20 – 24. Each professor must mark students attendance as present on the Class Roster in Banner Web.
Classes will be locked on the seventh class day, and students will not be able to drop and add classes.
Students that have completed the registration process by Aug. 1 and have a credit balance/refund must purchase their books from the bookstore by 5 p.m. on Aug. 21. If students do not purchase their books by this timeframe, they will have to wait to receive their refunds to purchase books.
Student should be aware that Pell grant amounts will vary with enrollment status (full-time, three-quarter time, half-time, less than half-time).
A student must meet the minimum satisfactory academic progress (SAP) standards per Grambling State SAP policy to receive federal funds.
