‘CUPID’ releases hot single

He has all of Grambling along with students from across the country during his shuffle.
Bryson Bernard aka “Cupid” also known as The King of the South is a multi-talented singer/performer from Lafayette.
Cupid started singing in the church at the age of 14, then he made appearances in talent shows then he slowly moved toward launching his career.
Cupid said that he is a blessed man and he has been in the singing business for long time.
When he was younger he looked up to artist such as H-Town, Silk, and Stevie Wonder. Cupid said that his parents are his inspiration.
Cupid started singing seriously with a group of friends in college.
“We called ourselves Fifth Element. The group even did a couple of talent shows at Grambling State University,” said Cupid.
The members of Fifth Element were from Ruston, (Jason Dade, Bobby Hill, Justin Emerson, Kedrick Keesee, and Marvin McCray).
“The guys all met in my hometown of Lafayette and that is where the true growth of my craft began,” said Cupid.
Since then Cupid said he has just been enjoying everything that
has been going on in his life.
In January 2007, Cupid released
his third album “Time For A Change,” with Atlantic Records.
When asked about the song Cupid Shuffle, the singer said he did not know whether the song was going to be a big hit or not.
“Not at all, I had know idea that the song would be a hit, but when the man above confirms it, it’s confirmed,” explained Cupid.
The next single planned to be released is Do Yo Dance, Cupid said it’s a club banger!CUPID PERFORMANCE SCHEDULE
