When the fans of the Texas Longhorns, the Ohio State Buckeyes, the USC Trojans, and others walk into their home stadium, one thing is for certain: They will be wearing their team colors.
This year, Grambling State officials are trying to establish that same sense of pride, starting with Jackson State on Saturday.
The event is called Gold Out.
“Gold Out is an activity designed to get the Tiger fans involved in the spirit of cheering on the team,” said GSU public relations director Ralph Wilson. “We’re asking all fans to wear their gold T-shirts on Saturday, and you can secure those T-shirts at the Bookstore.”
The GSU Bookstore has a wide variety of gold shirts with different fabrics and different designs.
