Previous political experience: Incumbent Grambling City Councilman

BRIEFLY STATE YOUR PLATFORM: To enhance and extend water and sewerage lines; to expand the city limits; to erect a bank, a hotel, and a shopping center; and to construct a new municipal complex

If elected, what would be your first priority? To seek industry and new businesses.

What makes you the best candidate for this office? I possess a strong desire to improve the quality of life for all of Grambling citizens. As an incumbent, my experience in local government has allowed me the opportunity to learn about state and federal grants, low-interest municipal loans, and incentives used in seeking new business.

Educational background: Studied music education at Grambling State University

Member of what organizations: Kappa Kappa Psi Fraternity, Bayou Boyz, Masonic Order and former member of GSU Marching Band

Previous political experience: Volunteered services as a firefighter for Lincoln Parish and city of Grambling

Pay increase for city workers, Grambling police and firefighters; more businesses in Grambling (restaurants, grocery stores, hotels); computer and technology center/library; YMCA for all who live in Grambling; less dependency on Ruston.

Improve the business expansion in Grambling to bring more money and business into the city.

What makes you the best candidate for this office?

I’ve had 18 years of experience in construction, also had 22 years of experience in automotive mechanics. I am persistent yet patient, a leader, but I can follow directions well. I am versatile, I possess a great understanding of elections, computers, music, etc. I’m also a fluent writer and public speaker.
