Grey’s Anatomy has been a hot television show airing on ABC, over the past year. It has received Golden Globe nominations, including Best TV Series for Drama. TV land is already claiming that this television series is going to be a classic series. It has bumped several television shows to different times and even off the air. This television show seems to be very popular, but what is it actually about? The show is a very interesting hospital format story. The characters are five interns working at Seattle Grace Hospital. Many of the interns are having relations and relationships with each other, which are causing major problems with other interns. These are your typical everyday problems, with people cheating on each other. The five interns fight to maintain their friendship in a very competitive atmosphere. Meredith Grey is the main character of the series, who is played by Ellen Pompeo. Pompeo made her major studio screen debut in Brad Silberling’s Moonlight Mile, starring Susan Sarandon, Dustin Hoffman and Jake Gyllenhaal. The interns are guided by a team of doctors who are determined to shape them into skilled surgeons or break them down into nothing. Miranda Bailey is responsible for training the interns. She is known to be soft, but tries to be tough in front of the interns. They nicknamed her “The Nazi.” Grey’s Anatomy focuses on young people who struggle to become doctors and doctors struggling to stay stable and human. The television series is based on drama and intensity of medical training mixed with funny, sexy, painful lives of the interns. Other stars of the show are Patrick Dempsey, James Pickens Jr., T.R. Knight, Sandra Oh, Katherine Heigl, Chandra Wilson, Isaiah Washington, Justin Chambers, and Kate Walsh. Students say that Grey’s Anatomy is a good television show because it features interesting situations that college students can relate to. It keeps the students interested and wanting to watch the show every Sunday Night. Grey’s Anatomy is currently in its second season, and they are currently filming the third season.
