Thunder hit the floor as 95 ladies of pastel pink and green made their presence known. Their 4-inch black boots greeted the floor with heavy stomps as they stepped their way into the fall 2005 Alpha Theta chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc.

The theme of pink and green completely flourished the scene in the Men’s Gymnasium on Oct. 19 in tribute to the new AKA sisterhood. And to get the event jumping a DJ was invited to hype up the crowd as the new AKAs got ready.

The Probate also brought along nearly 300 people and then some. People from all organizations came to support a friend or relative that night, from roommates to mothers. Members of Delta Sigma Theta, Omega Psi Phi, Zeta Phi Beta, and Kappa Alpha Psi all came to support a friend or family member.

In the heat of the excitement AKA new members were asked how they felt.
