The ‘King’ has arrived

Denver native J.D. Mason has written one of the greatest fiction book in history. This heartfelt book is called “One Day I Saw a Black King.”

It is about a couple named John King and Connie Rodgers whom shared a similar disturbed childhood experiences. For instance, John King’s late teenage, mother, Mattie had died while giving birth to him.

His grandmother, Agnes never forgave John for his daughter’s death. Connie Rodgers, however, grew up in a broken home, as well. Her mother left and her sister to fend for themselves. Desperate for love, she decides to go to the streets for love and support until one day she realized that the streets were nothing but trouble and the words “love and comfort” does not exist in the city of Houston.

So, what is my opinion about “One Day I Saw a Black King?” Hmm… Terrific! I give this book two thumbs up because this book is not only heartfelt but it’s also funny and in-depth. SO, if you want to read a book that has a lot of exciting details about love, hate, betrayal, passion, and self-recovery, then the only thing that I can say is that this is the book that you should read over and over again because it deals with everyday life situations.

Therefore, the moral of the story is no matter what a person goes through in life, he/she can overcome it by believing in God and themselves. But hey, don’t take my word for it. Go out and buy the book so you can see how good the novel really is.
