Nursing grad excels

Every semester we see students walk across the stage and never hear from them again. Ms. Rosheda Shantele Sims and accomplished something that is worth telling.

She is a 2003 graduate of GSU\\'d5s School of Nursing BSN program. Sims is working at the LSU-hospital in Monroe.



Sims has been selected to be on the Board of Directors of the North Central Boys/Girls Club.



When beginning college Sims didn't know exactly what she wanted to do so her mother suggested that she major in Nursing because she had a "caring personality."



Sims offered a word of encouragement for the students in the nursing program now at GSU. "There will be challenges but in the end it will be rewarding. Hang in there, study hard, surround yourself with positive people and manage your time wisely," said Sims



"GSU School of Nursing has definitely prepared me for a career in nursing and I would like to thank them."
