A’Torri Shine led the Tigers in last night’s game with 21 points in the Tiger’s 70-72 loss against Alcorn University. The Tigers were only down by 3 at half time, but found themselves fighting for their lives in the end. Eventually, it was not enough for the Tigers to come out with the victory.
Alcorn’s No. 15 LeAntwan Luckett also had 21 points last night sealing the Braves’ first SWAC win of this season. The Tigers move to 0-4 in SWAC, but are looking to obtain their first conference win against Texas Southern in Houston on Saturday, January 17.
