Knox to host Greek Step Show

Grambling State Univer- sity alumna Kingi Knox re- turns to Grambling to bring The GREATEST Fan of 365BLACK to Grambling State University.
Knox is a native of Baton Rouge yet she has interviewed many celebrities for ESPN ra- dio across the country at the Super Bowl, Essence Festival, MTV VMAs, BET pre- mieres and the Bayou Classic.
She is now    ex- cited as she will be looking
for The GREATEST Fan of Grambling State University for McDonald’s 365BLACK. A singer, a rapper and a poet will compete on stage for the best “Ba Da Ba Ba Baaa” rendition with a Grambling State Uni- versity tribute twist at the GSU Homecoming Greek Show at 8 p.m. on Saturday.
The performers will create their version of McDonald’s iconic “Ba Da Ba Ba Baaa” melody while expressing their school spirit for their HBCU.
365BLACK celebrates to- day’s Black philanthropists, ac- tivists and contributors not just in one month, but every day of the year. The 365BLACK honorees are recognized at the ESSENCE Festival annually in New Orleans.
Previously, Knox co-hosted
Grambling State University’s Homecoming Concert with B-Solo that featured Webbie, Bobby Valentino and Rick Ross, while covering interviews for Speedy’s Comedy Corner on Jamie Foxx’s FOXXHOLE Sirius XM Channel.
Kingi is looking to give an opportunity to aspiring artists to take the stage with flair and uniqueness as The GREAT- EST Fan of Grambling State University.
“We are part of history as we support our HBCUs that is Historical Black Colleges and Universities. 365BLACK reminds you to stay deeply rooted in the community as we change the world together in love,” Knox said.
Knox majored in accounting as a student at Grambling, but also worked with several other organizations.
She worked with groups such as the Student Gov- ernment Association, media groups, accounting club, Phi Beta Lamda and NABA.
Knox now lives in Los An- geles, but has also resided in Chicago and Atlanta.
“I created, I wrote, I host, and produced. The Greatest Fan is my baby. It’s my brand and I trademarked it, meaning I own it,” said Knox.
