Joseph Glenn, 22, of Grambling will be funeralized Saturday, Jan. 18 at Campus Community Worship Center in Ruston at 11 a.m. A wake will not be held for Glenn.
Glenn was pronounced died Sunday, Dec. 29, 2013 at Northern Louisiana Medical Center in Ruston, after confronting Ruston police officers with a replica of a handgun. The gun was later discovered as a BB gun.
The shooting took place at the Ruston Hampton Inn around 5:30 a.m., according to police reports.
The investigation is ongoing by the Louisiana State Police and the Ruston Police Department.
Glenn was a former GSU mass communication student who was born in New Orleans.
He skateboarded with a skateboard crew of other GSU students around the campus.
Glenn also competed and often won weekly rap battles held on Wednesday night on the yard.
