Grambling campus turns into winter wonderland

With the arrival of extreme winter weather, Grambling State University made the decision to cancel classes that were scheduled for Monday, Jan. 11 because it was expected that it would snow.

GSU President Rick Gallot made the declaration on Friday after the National Weather Service forecast called for freezing temperatures and snow Sunday night into Monday morning.

The Gramblinite photographer Allen Sandifer captured the snowfall on camera.
