GSU begins partnership with Peloton and Beyonce
Grambling State University has been selected for a partnership with Peloton and Grammy Award winner entertainer and entrepreneur Beyoncé.
Peloton is a fitness platform with over 3.6 million members that connects technology fitness and instructor-led classes for members no matter the location.
The two collaborated, presenting Peloton Digital memberships to GSU students that provide access to full fitness classes through the Peloton app with or without equipment.
"This partnership benefits students because it affords them a free two-year membership to the peloton app, granting access to thousands of world-class fitness instructors in areas that include yoga, meditation, and strength training, " Tisha Arnold, Director of Communications at GSU, said.
The partnership will enhance GSU because it continues the constant networking between the two.
In addition, Peloton will build on its relationship with GSU to pursue long-term partnerships at both the internship and undergraduate levels.
"This partnership is important for GSU because it continues a relationship with Beyoncé and starts a new one with Peloton,” Arnold said.
The nine remaining schools also receiving Peloton digital memberships include Bennett College, Clark Atlanta University, Hampton University, Howard University, Morehouse College and Morehouse School of Medicine, Spelman College, Texas Southern University, and Wilberforce University.
