Students again weighing whether to take spring courses online due to Covid

While COVID-19 may have discouraged some students from returning to campus for fall Semester this year, others have ridden out the semester and continue making a home at Grambling State University.

As the coronavirus pandemic continues, Grambling is allowing students to register to take all of their courses online in spring 2021, just as they did in fall 2020, and is even introducing a fully online degree.

However, many GSU students who chose to stay on campus in the fall semester in spite of the pandemic reported they have no regrets in making that decision.

“It feels refreshing to be on campus,” Dwedee Kobbah, a junior at GSU, said. “Despite the differences, I think the faculty is doing a great job to keep us safe while giving us creative fun.”

Students like Kobbah have reported a change in the on-campus atmosphere in it being more laid back.

Overall, students who are on-campus this semester seem to not regret coming back to Grambling this fall semester in spite of the pandemic.

Students at GSU are continuing to make the best of their experience and hope to build on that progress in Spring 2021.
