Talk Back: What challenges are you facing this semester while taking online classes?

Viair White, Senior

“With classes being online, it’s no “push” to do assignments. If we don’t go ahead and do them ourselves, then it’ll be forgotten about. Online classes are difficult to me, I’m a face to face learner.”

Cornelius Jackson, Senior

“Trying to keep up with everything on Canvas and the teachers just keep piling work, work, work.”

Jaylah Nabors, Sophomore

“The challenge I’m facing this semester is actually learning. I feel as if I’m only turning in work.”

Dylan OppeIt, Senior

“Keeping track of classes where instructors aren’t as involved in proactively instructing students, just assigning work.”

Kalil Reynolds, Senior

“Being hit with back to back hurricanes. I reside in Lake Charles. With that being said, there’s no WiFi anywhere in town for me to do my schoolwork and when I tell my professors that I’ve literally been in the dark and living off a generator with my parents for the past 23 days, they don’t seem to care at all.”
