Last Thursday, Feb 27, Grambling State University had a little over 5,200 votes in The Home Depot Retool Your School competition. Since then the number has rapidly increased to over 125,000 votes as of today.

Students, faculty, alumni and community members are encouraged to vote for Grambling on the website, retoolyourschool.com. or by using the hashtag, #grambling_rys20.

“Game Day Trailer.” “Game Day Trailer.” “Retool Your School is an engagement opportunity for our students to use their #GramFam pride as a catalyst for enhancing their student experience,” said Gourjoine M. Wade, associate vice president of students affairs and dean of students. “All it takes are a few tweets and a little time each day which is a small price to pay for $50,000.”

Wade encourages Gramfam to vote everyday and he sets voting goals each day.

Home Depot will grant the winning university $50,000 for campus improvements. The voting period ends April 5.

Grambling students, faculty and alumni are encouraged to vote each day to win the ReTool Your School competition.
