After a tough season, the team is hoping to rebound and improve their standings in the SWAC.

Last week, the team played in a Round Robin softball tournament in Bossier City, La.

Seven teams participated in the weekend activities consisting of Grambling, ULM, Bossier Parish Community College, Centenary, Arkansas-Monticello, Angelina College and Texarkana College.

Though the results weren’t in favor of the Lady Tigers, they have other games to look ahead to.

On Sept. 28, the team will hit the road and head to Mississippi to face off in the Belhaven Fall Bash in hopes of placing well in the tournament.

The following day, they’ll come home for a game against the Jarvis Christian Bulldogs. On Oct. 11, they’ll host the Trinity Valley Community College Cardinals to round up their fall games.

With fall match-ups against an array of different opponents, the team is hoping to bring success into the spring and use positive momentum to reach late season tournament play and improve from last season.
