Head coach Broderick Fobbs announced Wednesday that the annual Black and Gold Spring Game will be held on Friday April 12, 2019.

Kickoff is slate for 3:30 p.m. at Eddie G. Robinson Memorial Stadium.

“We are going to practice Wednesday and Thursday and conclude the weekend with our Spring Game on Friday,” Fobbs told reporters.

Inclement weather has been the main focus in Grambling after heavy rain and light flooding  forced the G-MEN to cancel practice and move the spring game from its original date on Saturday to Friday in hopes of beating a forecast of thunderstorms and heavy rain.

The spring game in 2018 was canceled due to bad weather.
