Ruston Marketplace means more shopping, jobs

As the construction workers lay down the last touches, Ruston is going to be home to four new retail stores that will be opening soon.

The $23 million dollar new shopping center called, Ruston Marketplace, is located in the northwest corner of I-20 and Cooktown Road.

The companies located in the Ruston Marketplace will bring approximately 80 jobs in the Ruston area. Companies are now looking for employment and some have hosted hiring events to further the process.

There are no updates on when Ulta and Rack Room Shoes are opening, but those who are looking for employment are encouraged to visit website for each of the companies for more information.

According to Mamon, future tenants are also considering placing stores in vacant locations in the shopping center.
