Two “Let’s Meet the Candidates” forums will be held at Grambling City Hall to introduce residents to those running in the Nov. 6 elections for city council and district judge.
The first forum for Grambling City Council contenders will be Thursday, Oct. 11 at 6 p.m. and the second for judge candidates in 3rd Judicial Court, Division C on Monday, Oct. 15 at 6 p.m.
The forums are sponsored by the Grambling Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc., the Greater Grambling Chamber of Commerce, the Grambling NAACP and the Grambling American Association of University Women.
The forums will give candidates an opportunity to briefly state their positions and to answer questions from the audience. Mark your calendars to talk to Grambling City Council candidates, Thursday, Oct. 11, and district judge candidates, Monday, Oct. 15. See you at Grambling City Hall at 6 p.m. on both days.
