Grambling 2.0: The Update
Upgrading from an old iPhone to a new one, feels like passing an exam you did not study for. Grambling State plans on updating to make student life even better than before. Many students complain about the slow internet speed.
By Spring 2019, the campus can expect a major update to its internet speed. This new internet update ensures to support the expanding student population and will also lay groundwork for its digital library.
Paying for laundry while living on campus can be a huge burden. Students that live on campus can look forward to new smart, all-inclusive laundry machines. No money is required.
The University’s new smart laundry machines will be placed in every on campus housing facilities, starting at the close of the fall semester throughout April 2019. Students will also be able to monitor and receive alerts about their laundry from any smart phone. That’s right, literally at your fingertips. In previous semesters, students have not been afraid to voice their opinions about McCall Dining Hall, better known as “the cafe.”
In addition to maintenance and cosmetic updates its is now safe to call it the McCall Dining Center. Students can expect more food options in the main area and a completely renovated eatery that replaced “Cash Street,” which is now “Cash Street Bistro.”
Upgrades to Grambling State’s shuttle service will continue throughout this fall. Which includes more trips for students and also more drivers in the spring. Visit the GSU’s Office of Transportation for updates on service times, routes, and scheduling.
Students that are not sure where to get a good workout in on campus should not freight. The Intramural Center is operating out of the Men’s Memorial Gymnasium. The completion of the upgraded intramural center will be in the Fall of 2019.
