Alumni Affairs director extends welcome
Dear Alumni and Friends,

Carolyn D. Collier
Welcome home! The students, faculty and staff have been working tirelessly to ensure that this year is the best one ever! The alumni are the cornerstone of this university and as such it will always be the entity that will support and provide sustainability for the future. Whether you graduated 5 or 75 years ago, our alumni are a cherished part of the GSU family and are always welcomed home!
The Office of Alumni Affairs is keeping you in the loop! Share your news in the Alumni Update, (the bi-weekly e-news letter). Take advantage of the President’s Electronic Suggestion Box, track the latest Twitter, Instagram post. Check the www.gram.edu website for news and campus activities as well as how to support our students with a gift to the GSU Annual Fund.
There are many ways you can financially give back to your alma mater. Take the opportunity to visit Legacy Square and be a part of the commemorative brick display, join the Ten for Ten campaign, make a gift to the GSU Annual Fund or donate directly to the department of your choice! You can also make plans with your classmates for a collaborative donation. And, if you are the Class of 1966, get ready for the time of your life! We will celebrate your 50th anniversary during the Spring 2016 graduation. There are new people, new thoughts and new changes, but the one thing that remains constant is the love we have for Grambling State University.
Let us have a safe and enjoyable Homecoming and remember we are all G’s: gracious, generous, gifted and giving with heartfelt love and gratitude for ‘Dear Ole GSU’.
In the Tiger Spirit,
Carolyn D. Collier ‘74
