Wear GSU paraphernalia this Friday, and every Friday #GramSpiritFriday

Grambling State University is encouraging community members to participate in GramFam Spirit Fridays. 

On Fridays, Grambling State University wants all students, faculty and visitors to their show GramFam school spirit and wear your GSU gear. Spirit Fridays are a chance for students, faculty and staff to wear their Grambling State clothing on campus to show off their Tiger Pride.

Wearing black and gold attire during class, work before home and away is an easy way to show Tiger Pride and support for the school’s athletic teams.

Those participating in GramFam Spirit Fridays are asked to post a selfie, photo, video or boomerang in your GSU gear with hashtag #gramspiritfriday and tag @grambling1901 and to “Like” and “Follow” GSU on Instagram, Twitter or Facebook.

GSU baseball hosts UAPB

The GSU baseball team is hosting the University of Arkansas Pine-Bluff. The tripleheader starts Friday, March 15 at 6 p.m. at Wilbert Ellis Field at R.W.E. Jones Park. The teams will also scheduled to play Saturday, March 16 at 3 p.m. and Sunday, March 17 at 1 p.m. 

Rising Junior Examination will be held March 18-22 & April 5

You must be registered in GET 300 via the Registrar’s Office and schedule your test date and time by logging on to Banner Web. Please bring current valid official photo ID, pencils and non-graphing calculator. 

Academic Affairs to host leadership training for women on March 18

Featured speaker, Dr. Rhonda Pruitt of True Care Dental will speak on the importance of leadership training on March 18 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Black and Gold Room in Favrot Student Union.

President’s SLI will host talent and style show March 20

 

The Grambling State University President Students Leadership Initiative (SLI) will be hosting a Leaders Got Talent and Style Show on March 20 at 7 p.m.

The event will be held at the Fredrick Hobdy Assembly Center. 

At this event leaders will be able to showcase their talents and compete for the final prize. All funds raised/donated at the event will go towards the organization to assist with the hosting of other events on campus and to give back to the community.

Tickets can be purchased at a cost of $3 from any SLI member.

Leaders Got Talent and Style Show is being held in accordance with other events during SLI week March 17-20. 

SLI is a leadership development program that builds leaderships skills, improve retention, persistence and a successful graduation.
