Abstract:
"You have the most beautiful brown skin," a Black man once told me. Of course I believed him, but I have always wondered if other men felt that way.
I wondered how Puerto Rican, Asian or Anglo-Saxon men viewed me. I have never dated outside of this wonderful ethnicity we call African American, but I have always dreamed of what it would be like to fall blindly in love with someone of another origin....

To Rico Rivers: are you really comparing the entire white race to Nazis?
What does that say about the white people who have raised mixed-race children to become great people, including our president? Would you call his mother a Nazi?

As I sit here, writing out rational, logical reasons for why almost every single sentence in this comment is totally incongruous and primitive (the list is infinite), I really take a step back. Would any of it even get through to someone like you? So instead I choose to say this: you are a reason for what is wrong in this world, let alone in this state. I am ashamed and horrified by your reasoning and to know educated people can still think so coarsely.

As a black man, I think and believe as a Jewish white man. I love my race. I stand up for my race. I will kill for my race. I will die for my race. I will attack anyone who disrepects my race. Dear Donneka Green,
I just finish reading your thread on,"I'm gon' get me a white boy" I found the discourse very discriptive and compelling. I remember Dr. Arlene Lake Cheers telling us,"that we all wanted the 'Good Life' and if the 'Good Life' was anything, it was the brotherhood of all people under the 'Fatherhood of God.' That Concept has really stuck with me throughout my entire career. As you must know, we were all considered 'Colored' back in those days.(1963)We dare not look at or discuss such emotional desires, for fear of being jailed or even killed. I feel that Dr. Cheers was a prophet, because she also predicted that a tribe of people would be coming from the south that would take over all the domestical task we had been performing as coloreds, and they would be considered as the new "N" Please excuse me for the use of that word, but I am trying to keep it real and state the facts.
Now that I am all grown up and have many years of living under my belt, I feel very different regarding your caption statment. I now say, "WHATEVER MELTS YOUR BUTTER." I have discovered through many painful experiences that, "LOVE FINDS IT OWN WAY." The only thing that messes it up are the two people involved.
So you see it's as normal as hot dogs, apple pie and cheverolet for you to have these emotional desires Donneka. So open your heart and let it fly free as you fight the love battle as long as you are having fun trying to win. NUF SED!

Great reply. But the women can't help BUT see the black man running to other races. With a lot of are men lock up our drug out, self center, acting foolish. were do that leave the young women of today. Our men are the issue. Or the lack of our men. Do you think that black women would look at other races if our men would stand up and be men and not player. Playing with all the wrong things. All this goes back to slavery. That's the root. Now black women want to walk on the other side. But I was always told the grass may not be greener on the other side. People our people. White green blue red, people or people. LOVE IS NOT A Color.

Hello Shocked! and anyone else who appear to be "shocked" by my reply.
I read where you conveniently skipped over how I stated that I think as a Jewish white man when it comes to his people and race. So, whatever comments or questions you have about my comments, I challenge you...no, I double dare you to direct those same comments and questions towards a Jewish whiteman concerning what he knows to be the truth about the "enemy" of Jews.
Please let me know what he says to you. :)
Now, I want to leave this with everyone else. Whenever, I have gone to the doctor's office complaining of a stomach ache or some other pain, he/she would inquire about the "history" of the pain. When did it start? How did it get started? Have you ever received treatment for this pain before?
The same thing with Black people today. I don't take anything Donneka Green or anyone who thinks like Donneka Green seriously because her thinking, your thinking, and even my thinking are the direct result and cause of 400 years of chattel slavery in this country. Plus, 100 years of Jim Crow/Lynching. OF which African-Americans have never received any treatment or De-programming THERAPY to help get back all that was stripped away during the slave making process.
So, just as it would sound completely insane for a self-loving Jew of today to date and marry Adolf Hitler's great grandson or great grand daughter...it should be equally questionable why a slave would see "LOVE" in his/her former slave master's ancestors.
The majority of Black people today are sick. We need psychologically deprogramming from our old slave thinking ways. We are out of our minds. We don't love ourselves. If we did our communties would not be in such disarray. Also, My comments on the topic of race would not be so offensive to those blacks who take offense. Hey, I did not make this up. I read it in the history books.

In defense of Rico, he is not comparing the entire white race to Nazi's. He compared a sister saying "I'm gon get me a white boy." to a Jew saying "I'm gon get me a Nazi." That was the comparison. I have, not to say date, but been with white girls and it's my feeling that there is a little difference, but not in race...in individuals. As of now, I choose not to date or mate with anybody of a different race. Not for genetic, racial, or discriminatory reasons. I'm not worried about raising mixed children or dealing with small-minded individuals who can't see past color. It's my choice. I find beauty in my black women, but I've seen some fine white girls, Filipinos, Asians, Latinas. But I am overly attracted to my Black Women. If anybody happens to find love with somebody outside of their race, I'm happy you found love.

Thanks JNB for the clarity. Some people just refuse to "get it."
However, I speak and write very well. The assumption is that I am communicating with intelligent people. I speak and write DIRECTLY to whom I am communicating with. Still, some people want to make it appear as if that they have the monopoly on intelligence.
I meant what I said. Damn, the opinions and assumptions about what I wrote. I never mentioned "ALL" of anything. I never mention mixed anything in my original post.
You see. People get upset when all of us don't agree. White people get upset and their insecurities flare up whenever a Black man or woman does not desire them they way Donneka Green does. Sorry, I never sipped that Kool-Aid. Jim Jones' Guyana Tragedy taught me better.
My question is legitimate. Do Jews wish to Lie down with Nazis, the sworn enemy of their people? (all or some of them)?
IF not, why not? So, if we can't bring ourselves to see why a Black man or Black woman in America would not want to lay down, marry, or date a Caucasian, it is not Me who has the issues...it is those of you who have chosen to ignore the experience of Black people, but become emotional at the very thought of Jews being in the same room with a Nazi or their ancestors.
Please people...don't run that forgiveness shit on me. In the news right now, an 89 year white former Nazi guard is being put on trial for his part in killing Jews back in the day. This OLD man has being wheeled in on a hospital bed into court say they (Jewish people) can get their revenge by punishing this OLD ass man with a jail sentence.
Funny how JEws can still be unforgiving towards their white enemies and it is deemed ok by you ALL, but me, a black man, gets attacked and demeaned because I have no interest in having sex with a white woman, and who still demands that REPARATIONS be paid for 300 years of free labor by Blacks in this country.
